I hope the art will pick up but the story and setup is amazing. Elephantmen is a European comic book series published by Image Comicscreated by Richard Starkings and illustrated by Ladronn, Moritat, Marian Churchland and guest artists. I really found myself feeling for the Elephantmen featured in this first book, even the clear villain and I wanted them to have better lives than they had.
Other books in the series. I think that in the future, Lia Habel should be in charge of determining all of my reading ckmic. This is a reprint of a book I’ve already read and indeed own. This article’s lead section does not adequately summarize key points of its contents. I’m forever amazed at how much depth of story a graphic novel can tell, with so few words and only limited imagery.

The art is really good, and the art of the pirate story alone is great enough to forget a rare panel or two that looks a bit r Elephantmen Vol 1. The other real joy is the extra ‘English and Media Studies’ selections Starkings has included from the back pages where he offers a history of the fantastic artists and comic creators who shaped him, working in the British system in the 60s and 70s.
This is a fantastic compilation and an intriguing look at a dystopian future and humanity’s reaction to the Other.

The artwork is striking but a couple of the issues’ have some wobbly line work, which is somewhat odd given the excellent design and sumptuous colouring. The result is years of Afro-Sino War.
You are being invited into this fictional world by being asked to respond as any human would. They can’t fit in, and there are the memories She has never failed to steer me toward incredible stories and this is certainly no exception. The stories are loosely connected, some being much more interesting than others. The book manages to remain fun and let the silliness of its world stand as it is, but is still more than capable of being serious and grim.
